WHAT YOUR DENTIST MAY NOT TELL YOU
but you need to know before your next root canal
Injured patients should file an adverse event report with the FDA. Absent reports from the public, the FDA will not realize the extent of the dangers of Sargent Paste. Click here to file report. Also ask your doctor to file a report on your behalf. Since reports are voluntary over 90% of adverse events go unreported.

US REGULATORY BOARDS & SARGENTI PASTE

Please visit the links below for the US regulatory board positions on the sale and/or use of Sargenti Paste and other (para)formaldehyde containing root canal sealers. The information that we have posted under these links comes from recent documentation or requests. If you feel that we have misrepresented any position, please email us with documented material and we will investigate it.

The regulatory boards (listed to the left) either do not recommend the use of Sargenti paste or recommend against it; yet, the regulatory boards listed below (that we pay tax dollars to protect us) do not enforce these standards and instead look the other way. WHY? What is the purpose of setting standards, intended to protect the public, if you don't enforce them?

Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

State Dental Licensing Boards
