Currently, the only way to know if your dentist uses Sargenti Paste is to ask or you can email us their name and location and we will check our current list which we do not believe is complete. Sargenti using dentists will likely not volunteer the information. If you are suspicious that it has already been used on you, go to your dentist office and request a copy of your records and wait for them to be made. Then ask. Then go to an endodontist or a different one if an endodontist did the root canal. Ask if your treatment chart notes show if Sargenti
paste was used. If the chart states Sargenti, N2, RC2W, or RC2B for root canal
filling then Sargenti paste was used.
An ethical dentist who is putting the patient needs first, will not be offended if a patient asks questions. They should be able to answer the questions with facts and not brush them aside with humor or double-talk. You can't tell if they are honest and ethical by the appearance of their building or the friendliness of their staff. Dentistry is a business, intended to make income. As with any business, some are professional and honest, some are not.
In the future, we will post a list of dentists that are known users of Sargenti Paste. While we do not recommend against going to them, we advise that the patient research this subject and make an informed decision that is best for them. Our goal is public awareness.
